Questions

Common ones, answered.

Do we have to engage you across all five pillars?

No. Each stage stands alone as an engagement — many clients come to us only for a feasibility study, a fundraise or a turnaround. The value simply compounds when one partner carries the plan from finance through to scale, because nothing is re-learned at each handover.

How do you charge?

Depending on the work: fixed advisory or project fees, monthly retainers for ongoing management support, and success fees on fundraising where part of our compensation depends on the close. We agree the basis in writing before work starts.

How long does a hospital project usually take?

From feasibility study to opening day, a greenfield facility typically runs 12–24 months depending on scale, land and licensing. Turnaround engagements show first results within a quarter. Fundraising timelines depend on the instrument — bank facilities move faster than equity.

Do you work outside Kenya?

Yes. Our base is Nairobi and most of our work is Kenyan, but we take engagements across East Africa where the regulatory and payer environment is one we can properly advise on.

What happens in a Healthcare Growth Assessment?

A structured session on your facility or plan — market, capital structure, payer mix, operations and the gaps between them — followed by a written summary of what we would do first, and what it would cost. It is the fastest way to find out whether we are useful to you.
